The Ph Eur monograph for Quinine Sulphate published in the BP 2009 is not correct.

• The correct monograph has been posted online.
• The hard copy text will be corrected by means of the BP 2010.

Users of the BP may wish to note that Part I of the General Notices in the BP 2009 states that Ph Eur monographs are reproduced in the BP for the convenience of users and in cases of doubt or dispute reference should be made to the Council of Europe text.

Page amendment to British Pharmacopoeia – Volume 3, page 2822

Please note that a fault in the printing plate has caused fragmented text on some copies of Volume 3, page 2822 of the British Pharmacopoeia 2009. The content remains correct on this page and it is only the print quality that is affected.

A replacement page will be sent out for all copies of the British Pharmacopoeia that have already been supplied and with all future orders.
